World X-Photographers FUJIFILM Photography Exhibition:

Exhibition title: FUJIFILM World X-Photographers are coming to Prague!
Exhibition dates: 8. 12. 2017-14. 1. 2018
Exhibition place: CZECH PHOTO CENTRE 

I don’t how if i have enough words to thanks FUJIFILM CZ  Team for their welcome  and the amazing job they did for us.  Still hard to believe how dreamy it was during time in Prague.

My dear wife Shanthi Jeuland, flew earlier  to Prague to represent me at the opening day because on the same evening, I was doing live judging for Asian Geographic Photography contest “ Images of ASIA ” witch is one of the largest contest in Asia with over 9,000 entries. It was a honour to be part of the judging panel.
Right after the event that was organised by Asian Geographic, I took a taxi and went to the airport to join everyone in Prague. It was my first to travel to Czech Republic.

The FUJIFILM Photography Exhibition in Prague:

Experience the world of X-Photographers at first hand. Collective exhibition, prepared by FUJIFILM, presenting a total of 27 photographers from all around the world was set out to show the variety of photographic themes and different approach to them. There are talks and practical workshops lead by exhibiting photographers as part of the exhibition which were open to public.

“We are honored that so many world X-Photographers accepted our invitation to participate in this spectacular exhibition and most of them will personally attend the opening ceremony or will lecture or lead workshops during the exhibition. We are glad, that we can bring so many great photographers to Czech Republic, who will definitely inspire other amateurs and professional photographers,”says the organizer of the exhibition Aneta Změlíková of the FUJIFILM branch office in Czech Republic.

The range of the themes is wide, the exhibition will be separated into 9 sections, each represented by one color, and presenting 9 themes. The core of the exposition is 9 Czech X-Photographers, each representing one theme, accompanied by 18 X-Photographers from other parts of the world bringing different approaches and ways of processing. The exhibition confronts Czech photography with the rest of the world in the unique gallery space of Czech Photo Centre.

My pictures were exhibited at the Travel and Street section category. My picture exhibition were from my latest trip in Sri Lanka (the blog post of the Sri Lankan trip) while setting the new camera FUJIFILM X-E3 (blog review of the FUJIFILM X-E3) and previous trip. (FUJIFILM Video).

The Photography exhibition was at the CZECH PHOTO CENTRE, it is a new place exclusively focused on photography, situated in a nice area with a charming coffee – restaurant next door.
